The Story
I had a blast painting with Callyn this year - mostly marathon-style over one long weekend! We discovered we have more in common than a love for art. Callyn's Uveitis and my Keratoconus present similar hurdles in life and in painting. Impressionism is something Callyn was really interested in exploring because she wanted the blurred images in the background of her painting to show viewers how she sees the world. Callyn has incredible focus and energy, a growing toolbox of techniques she's trying and a longtime commitment to making art. This is her 6th Art for Arthritis. She loved trying new types of paint and says she's learned more than ever this year! I'm so grateful Art for Arthritis brought Callyn into my life - we are kindred souls.
