Off the Wall at 80 Santa Fe

Opening Reception: Friday, March 20, 5-7 pm

On View Through May 11, 2026

Art isn't always flat. I make books!

Off the Wall celebrates artists who work in three dimensions - sculptors, mixed media makers, and creators who build with depth, texture, presence. These pieces rise from surfaces, cast shadows, and shift as you move.

Meet the artists at 3rd Fridays March 20, 2026, 5-7 pm - or visit anytime to find art that jumps off the wall.

My Own Handmade Books

Making books is so much fun. In 'Dawn to Dusk' and 'In Kansas,' I built stories with abstracted images in acrylic, ink, handmade collage papers, colored pencil, china marker and, sometimes, bits of vintage magazine pages. Leaf through my books digitally and enter new worlds.
Above is a slideshow with glimpses of my handmade books included in the Off the Wall exhibit!

My Art Story: Video Interview

Plein Air Painting in the Flint Hills

An East-Coaster through and through, now I'm a reluctant Mid-Westerner. The Kansas Flint Hills are like oceans of the prairie to me. Isolated. Undulating. Stunning in their raw beauty. Art is where you find it.
